No. 6 Palma (21-3) vs. No. 3 Mitty (15-9) at Wilcox High, 7:30 p.m.
 Playing in the Open Division assures each team of at least three more games and a spot in the State Northern California playoffs in their respective divisions.
 The Chieftains aren't looking at this as a reward. The Gabilan Division champs believe they belong and can compete with the top eight teams in the section.
 And they should.
 Earlier this year Palma gave Open Division top seed St. Francis all it could handle before falling by nine in a game that was tied in the third quarter.
 Mitty split its season series with St. Francis in the WCAL, beating them 61-42 on Jan. 28, closing the regular season with a 6-2 record.
 Palma hasn't tasted defeat since falling to St. Francis on Jan. 2, having rattled off 13 straight wins, 12 of them by 10 or more points.
 Wyatt Maker has been a beast in the paint for Palma while sophomore guard Jamaree Bouyea led the team in 3-point goals. Seniors Jack Burlison and Marquess Cannon have provided big points.
