7. Pacific Grove: I don't know if I want a week off if I'm MTAL champion Pacific Grove.
8. Carmel: Opens the Division IV playoffs on the road on Thursday.
9. Alvarez: Difficult first round opponent on Tuesday at Independence.
10. Stevenson: Closed the season with a 9-1 record.
On the bubble: Alisal, King City, San Benito, Oakwood.
