Annie Aldrete

The reigning NCAA Freshman of the Year is off to a blistering start for the University of Tennessee softball team, hitting .500 with a home run through the teams first three games.

The sophomore catcher, who was a second team All-American last year for the Vols, has driven in four runs. She’s also walked three times, sporting a .875 fielding percentage.
Last year Aldrete - 2013 Santa Catalina graduate -- was named to the USA National Softball team.
