Talk about a beast of a non-league schedule.
Palma will face Sutter, St. Francis, Sacred Heart Prep and Aptos in 2015.
If you count Gabilan Division rival San Benito, the Chieftains have five section champions on their schedule next fall.
So did Palma bite off more than it can chew?
Not if you're a program with state championship aspirations.
Now you've got people's attention.
Plus the offense from last fall is intact.
Sutter went 13-0 in capturing the North Coast Section title before falling to Campolindo in the DIII Northern California bowl game.
Aptos has not lost to a team in the Central Coast Section in two years while Sacred Heart Prep won the Open Division title last fall, and should have gotten a Nor Cal bid.

Palma travels to Sutter the following year as well. Sutter underclass are very strong. With change in CCS playoff format and CIF bowl format, Palma would have a schedule that would position them for a bowl bid the next couple years - of course they would need to win the nonleague, league and win a CCS title or consolation playoff final.
