A second concussion this winter is threatening the basketball career of former Salinas High and Hartnell College forward Kyle Vasher.
Vasher, who is a junior at Angelo State in Texas, suffered a pair of concussions during his senior season at Salinas High five years ago.
The 6-foot-5 Vasher, who hasn't played since Dec. 1, was averaging nearly four points and two rebounds a game off the bench for Angelo State.
