Palma
 You don't make distract changes when the core of the team is back.
 Yet, that doesn't mean things are status quo at Palma.
 First year coach Kelly Lopez has tinkered with the offense this year and toyed with the lineup.
 It's hard to argue with the results in the preseason as Palma jumped out to a 7-1 start.
 What the Chieftains have this winter is depth at numerous positions. It won't be uncommon to see 12 different players get time on the court.
 While the starting lineup has possessed just one senior at times, it's a senior laden bench that has produced big points in big moments.
 In the meantime, 6-foot-8 junior Wyatt Maker continues to progress in the paint while sophomore point guard Jamaree Bouyea has sparkling in the starting lineup.
 Maker will be difficult to stop without a double team. That could open up the perimeter for the likes of Matt Lucas and Jack Burlison.
