Alisal-Watsonville boys soccer

Two teams accustomed to being nationally ranked and unbeaten put perfection on the line tonight in a prime time game in Watsonville.
The defending CCS Division I champion Wildcatz are nationally ranked this year at 10-0-1, having allowed just two goals all year behind goalie Jose Luis Casteneda.
Yet, since both teams entered the Gabilan Division two years ago, Watsonville is 0-3-1 against the Trojans.
It took a season high four goal output in the second half last week against Salinas to overcome a 3-0 deficit and keep Alisal's unbeaten season alive.
In 11 matches, Alisal has five ties, three coming against WCAL powers. David Tapia and Santiago Morales have been the cornerstones on offense.
Having won two of the last three CCS titles, Watsonville has compiled 10 in its storied program
