Alisal-Alvarez boys soccer

Just one team has held Alvarez without a goal this year.
 Care to guess?
A measure of redemption will be on the minds of the Eagles tonight when they host reigning league champion and nemesis Alisal.
One goal was enough in the Trojans' 1-0 win over Alvarez on Jan. 6.
Since then, the Eagles have gone 4-0-1, with the one tie coming from national power and unbeaten Watsonville.
Alvarez has soared behind Ricardo Soza and Christian Santibanez, who have combined for 29 goals and 23 assists.
The Trojans only loss all season came from Watsonville.
However, Alisal has struggled defensively of late. After allowing just six goals in its first 10 games, it gave up six in back-to-back games to Salinas and Watsonville before bouncing back with a solid effort on Tuesday against Gilroy.
David Tapia and Santiago Morales have come up with clutch goals all season for the Trojans while Javier Montelongo has a game winner and game tying goal to his credit.
