Scotts Valley-North Salinas girls hoops

The Vikings lost one game to a team from the Central Coast Section last year.
 Guess who?
Redemption won't be all that's on the minds of North Salinas when it hosts the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League powers on Wednesday.
Last year Scotts Valley humbled the CCS Division I champions 71-35.
Don't be mislead by the Falcons 3-2 start. The core of last year's 26 win team is back, including Mandy Silver, who is averaging just under 15 points a game.
The same can be said for North Salinas, who returns Gabilan Divison MVP Alyssa Springs and 14 of her teammates.
While the Vikings haven't been tested in three lopsided wins, Scotts Valley has already faced Valley Christian, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Cardinal Newman, Piedmont and Presentation.
Both teams like to press for four quarters and push the pace. The Falcons put 84 points up on Valley Christian.
North Salinas was headed for 100 on an opponent before it pulled its team off the court with seven minutes left in the game.
