No lineup is settled this time of the year.
Yet, the one Palma threw out on Friday is intriguing.
One freshman, one sophomore, two juniors and a senior.
It's not that the Chieftains are a youthful team.
The core of the bench that produced points in Friday's win over a team from Australia were seniors.
In fact, you can make the argument that the bench won the game for the 3-1 Chieftains.
Still the starting lineup has balance.
You've got good size with the Maker brothers, a sharpshooter in Jack Brusa, a playmaker in Jamaree Bouyea and a four year starter that plays tenacious defense in Jack Burlison.
This was a good early season win for Palma, who was playing the reigning state champions from Australia.
It's easier for a first year coach to get players to buy into what he's preaching when you get results.

Their only loss is to St Mary's Stockton which is also a very good program.
