Ali Barbeau

 The former Salinas High outside hitter finished as UC Santa Barbara's leader in kills and services aces this past fall.

  The 6-foot-1 Barbeau compiled 265 kills -- two off her career high of 267 kills -- and 30 aces. The junior also tallied 148 digs for the Gauchos, whose season came to an end on Dec. 1.
  In three seasons at Santa Barbara, Barbeau has 601 kills. She is a former two-time member of The Herald's All-County volleyball team.
