State cross country

 Nothing better than spending Thanksgiving Weekend in Fresno if you're running cross country.
 The pinnacle of the sport concludes on Saturday with the State Divisional finals at Woodward Park in Fresno.
 Aspirations of a state team title are the focus for MTAL and CCS boys champion King City, who is ranked No. 2 in the state in Division IV.

 Jocelyn Sosa is making her third straight state meet appearance for Greenfield in Division IV. The junior won the MTAL title three weeks ago, leading the team to its first ever league title.
