Santa Catalina (16-6) at Harbor (19-13), 7 p.m.
The Pirates finished in a tri-championship in the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League at 12-2, knocking off tri-champions Soquel and Aptos in the final week of the regular season.
In other words, Harbor is playing some of its best volleyball going into the playoffs. led by junior hitter Lauren Matias.
At times Santa Catalina has sported four freshmen on the floor throughout the season, going 12-2 in the MTAL, falling only to league champion Carmel.
Junior Tatumn Satow has been the glue holding the Cougars together, making an impact at the net, in the back row and at the serving line.
Freshman McKinley Fox has solidified the offense at setter while freshman Olivia Satow has been a vacuum on defense in the back row.
