Kyle Vasher has made an early impression coming off the bench for the Angelo State men’s basketball team, averaging six points a game through the teams first four games -- including a season high 12 in the teams opener.
The 6-foot-5 swingman is hitting 50 percent of his shots from the field, and 87.5 percent from the free throw line. Vasher is also pulling down 2.3 rebounds a game.Last year Vasher was an all-conference selection at Hartnell College, averaging over 21 points a game. During his senior year at Salinas High, he was a member of The Herald’s All-County Basketball team.
