Jordan Jones has been named to the National Team of the Week by both Top Draw Soccer and College Soccer News for the Oregon State men’s soccer team.
The freshman sniper produced two goals in the Beavers' 4-3 win over nationally ranked Cal, giving them a sweep of their season series for the first time in 11 years. Jones took just three shots in the game.
Jones, who produced 28 goals as a junior at Pacific Grove High in 2013, has seven goals in 18 games -- 13 starts -- for Oregon State, and is third on the team in points.
