1. Salinas: Who is playing better football right now?
2. San Benito: An argument can be made for the Balers, who beat Palma.
3. Palma: Why? Because it matters what you did last week, not last month.
4. Monterey: Hopes a bye week creates a lengthy postseason run.
5. Alvarez: Playoff bound for the second straight year.
6. Pacific Grove: Has not won a 'Shoe Game' in six years.
7. Carmel: Has not lost an MTAL game at Carmel in seven years.
8. Christopher: Champions of the Pacific will be in the Gabilan next fall.
9. Monte Vista: Could be a surprise team in the Division IV playoffs.
10. Soledad: Needs a win in the season finale to keep its slim playoff hopes alive.
On the bubble: North County, Gilroy.

So if Palma defeats Alvarez by more than Salinas did within the month, you will move Palma back to #1? or will you wait until the playoffs when Palma most likely will have the toughest games versus a relatively weaker D1 playoff.
Palma is still the #1 team even after its loss to SB. He had to drop them though. Just funny to see a 6-4 teams ranked #1..I get their losses were close but they still have 4 of them. Palma still has the best record in the county (I know PG is 8-1 but they should be they play in the MTAL). If all the teams in CFB had 2 losses except MISS st and they lost 1 game they would still be the #1 team. Palma is the top team and they MOnterey Salinas and Hollister are all pretty even IMO. I think if palma played all 3 of those teams again they would still win. If those 3 teams played again idk who would win.
