Fife to Long Beach State

 Chris Fife has verbally committed to play baseball next year at nationally ranked Long Beach State.

  The Pacific Grove senior shortstop has been a starter since his freshmen year, leading the team in extra base hits last spring while earning All-County honors.
  Fife was a catalyst on defense during the Breakers run of two consecutive Central Coast Section Division III titles. He had 30 hits in 27 games last year.
