Bradshaw Christian-Notre Dame volleyball

State Northern California Division V playoffs
Tuesday's match
No. 6 Bradshaw Christian (20-12) at No. 3 Notre Dame (29-6), 7 p.m.
The Sacramento-based christian school fell in the SAC Joaquin Section championship match to the same team it finished second to in the Sierra Delta League in Vacaville Christian.
Larissa Lenkiewicz has been the Pride's big threat at the net with 235 kills this year, nearly a third of the teams total kill numbers.
Bradshaw Christian is a defensive minded unit that does not beat itself.
The Spirits, who won their first section title in 10 years, reached the State Nor Cal semifinals in 2012 and have never lost a Nor Cal playoff match at home.
Nikki DeSerpa and Emily Cunanan have led a contingent of hitters at the net for Notre Dame, who swept all three opponents in the Division V playoffs.
During the Spirits CCS title run, they ran off points in bunches with solid serving and a dominating presence at the net.
Notre Dame is 13-1 at home, with its only loss coming from then state ranked Presentation.
