Jason Leach wanted to average 10 yards a carry for Pacific Grove. At the midpoint of the season, the senior tailback is averaging 10.1 yards each time he touches the ball.
Leach has seven touchdowns this year of 35 yards or longer, including an 84-yard run, an 82 yard kickoff return and an 89 yard reception.
The Pirates have outscored opponents 17-0 in the fourth quarter. Read Reynolds has either thrown or rushed for 618 yards and five touchdowns.
