Stevenson-King City football

Friday's game
Stevenson (3-2) at King City (3-3),7:30 p.m.
Both teams have had three-game winning streaks this year.
The Mustangs are in a stretch of playing four straight teams with winning records, and battered after losing four players to injuries last week.
King City is undefeated when scoring 20 or more points, winless when it doesn't. Of course the same can be said for the Pirates.
The Mustangs offensive struggles can be traced to their ground game -- winless when they don't rush for 100 yards.
Quarterback Read Reynolds has either thrown or rushed for over 600 yards for Stevenson, compiling over 50 percent of the offense.
A thorn in the Pirates side all year has been the first quarter, where they have only scored six points. Defensively, Stevenson has allowed just 28 points in the second half.
