North Salinas-Seaside football

Friday's game
North Salinas (2-5) at Seaside (0-7), 7:30 p.m.
The Spartans went 16 straight quarters without a point before their special teams produced a touchdown last week on a Dariyn Choates blocked punt in the fourth quarter.
Meaning the offense has managed just three touchdowns all year. Seaside has been outscored 137-7 in the first half.
North Salinas is looking to snap a five-game losing streak. In its last two games, it has allowed 105 points.
Quarterback Joseph Gutierrez has thrown for nearly 900 yards and eight touchdowns for the Vikings, while leading the team in rushing as well.
One of these teams will be in the Pacific Division next year.
