Josh Pompan

 Josh Pompan made an auspicious debut for the University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team, posting a 5-1 record at the Princeton Ivy Plus and Penn Tennis Invitational.

A Central Coast Section Singles champion last spring at York School, Pompan is one of four singles players from Penn competing this week in the ITA Northeast Regionals in New York.
Last spring Pompan was undefeated in the Central Coast Section in singles competition, winning every match in straight sets. As a junior at York in 2012, he reached the CCS finals, knocking off the reigning champion in the semifinals.
