Friday's game
Greenfield (0-5) at Gonzales (2-3), 7:30 p.m.
Stuck in an eight-game losing streak that dates back to last year, Greenfield's last win came against Gonzales.
Both of the Spartans wins this fall have come at home.
While the Bruins are winless, they have lead in three of their five losses. Right now a lack of depth and experience is wearing them down in the second half.
Gonzales is a different looking offense when quarterback Chrystian Harrigan gets out and runs. Last week he was held to a career low eight yards against Soledad.
The balance in the Spartans attack is nearly equal as they have rushed for 965 yards and passed for 968 yards.
After scoring 28 points in a season opening loss, Greenfield has manufactured just 23 points in its last four games.
