Carmel-Greenfield football

Friday's games
Carmel (4-2) at Greenfield (0-6), 7:30 p.m.
Four times this year the winless Bruins have jumped out in front of an opponent. A lack of depth is wearing on the team in the second half.
After allowing 122 points in three non-league games, the Padres much maligned defense has given up just 30 in three MTAL games.
Carmel has manufactured 15 sacks, with defensive end Andres Enriquez having recorded six sacks.
Quarterback Connor Marden has thrown for over 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, with William Kehoe having caught eight touchdown passes in the last four games.
In fact, the Padres are undefeated when Kehoe catches a touchdown pass.
Marden, who rushed for 15 touchdowns last fall, hasn't scored this year. In part, because sophomore  Covassay Windham has grinded out over 700 yards on the ground with nine touchdowns.
