 While some teams are gearing up for their third game of the year, Stevenson steps on the field for the first time against a team it has beaten the last two years.
 The Pirates late start with school and borders is the reason for the delayed start to the season and the decision to go with a nine-game schedule.
 Harbor has had a week to lick its wounds from a 41-6 loss to Mar Vista of Imperial Beach. It's still looking for its first offensive points after the defense registered the only touchdown two weeks ago.
 A defense, anchored by Kendrick Pearson and Jack Bournes, will keep Stevenson in a lot of games this fall.
