Friday's game
Hanford West (1-1) at King City (0-1), 7:30 p.m.
This isn't rocket science for King City. You're not going to win many games turning the ball over six times, as was the case last week.
Getting tailback Wacey Barrington back from off-season knee surgery would be a shot in the arm for the Mustangs. It will likely be a game time decision.
Hanford is coming off a 2-8 season in which it gave up 40 or more points in five games. Last week it fell 41-34 to Corcoran. But don't be mislead by last fall's record.
Quarterback Jamal Salaam has thrown for over 500 yards in his first two games, including 337 yards in last week's seven point loss. Chadd Black is averaging over seven yards per carry.
Dominic Ross is coming off a nine catch, 105 yard effort for King City. The Mustangs held a 14-0 lead last week before surrendering 22 straight points.
