Greenfield-Stevenson football

Saturday's game
Greenfield (0-3) at Stevenson (2-0), 2 p.m.
So much for the late start being an issue for the Pirates, who are off to their third straight 2-0 start since eliminating a Week 1 game from their schedule.
Quarterback Read Reynolds has become a triple threat for Stevenson, rushing for over 100 yards last week. He's thrown for 138 yards and a touchdown, and has kicked a field goal.
Defense, though, has dictated the tempo for the Pirates, who behind linebacker Jack Bournes, have allowed just 21 points -- zero in the fourth quarter.
Greenfield struggles are on the offensive side as it has not produced a point in the last eight quarters. Running back Anthony Leon and Gerardo Salas need to get untrack.
The Bruins have dropped seven straight road games and have not won on Saturday since Nov. 5 of 2010.
