Carmel football

I'm not sure Carmel has solved its defensive concerns, giving up 31 points on Saturday.
But it has a win against a good team -- in comeback fashion.
Yet, for as much as people expect the Padres to sling it all season behind QB Connor Marden and receivers William Kehoe and John Stivers, this team is better when it runs the ball.
Particularly with a bruising running back in sophomore Covassey Windham, who rushed for four touchdowns Saturday in the Padres win over previously unbeaten Christopher.
Windham, the nephew of former North Salinas and Philadelphia Eagles fullback Anthony Toney, is a load to bring down, having piled up three straight 100 plus yard rushing games.
He'll be a beast in the MTAL. He also chews time off the clock, enabling Carmel to provide its scarred defense more time to rest.
