The two-headed monster of Edric Gamble and Ceasar Ramirez in the backfield has room for another member in Emilio Orejel.
The 5-foot-6 junior has quietly become a menace to opponents, producing a pair of touchdowns in the Eagles 48-14 win over Peninsula Athletic League power Menlo.
Gamble is the game breaker while Ramirez is a beast between the tackles. Orejel brings a lunch pale attitude that gets contagious.
Since falling behind to Soledad in the fourth quarter of its season opener, Alvarez has outscored the opposition 111-24.
Don't sleep on the Eagles defense.
