Overshadowed by King City teammate Edgar Bonilla, Orozco also qualified for the Division IV state cross country championships last year, finishing seventh overall.
The senior enters this fall as the second best returning distance runner in the Mission Trail Athletic League, behind Bonilla, as the Mustangs chase another team title.
