Ron Rivera to speak at MPC

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera and former Jets and Chiefs head coach and current ESPN analyst Herm Edwards will speak on June 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the second Alumni Speakers Forum at the MPC Theatre.
 Rivera, the NFL Coach of the Year last season, and Edwards will share their experiences on and off the playing field. The event will be moderated by former NFL official Jim Tunney.
 Rivera, who begins his fourth year as the Panthers head coach, spent nine seasons as a linebacker with the Bears, earning a Super Bowl ring in 1984.
 Edwards played nine seasons with the Eagles and is the team's second all-time interception leader. He also spent eight years as an NFL head coach.
