Santa Catalina will be the girls favorites today to repeat as league champions while Stevenson will look to dethrone boys champion Carmel at the Mission Trail Athletic League swimming finals.
The Cougars were undefeated in dual meet competition behind UC Irvine bound water polo standout Allie Loomis. Teammate Claire Jellison will be a favorite in two events as well.
Carmel's strength in the girls division starts with Meagan Hoch in the free events and Jenna Riley in the 100 fly and 100 breast.
Having knocked off Carmel in the final week of the dual meet season, the Pirates will look to duplicate the feat behind 100 back and free specialist Chris Chun.
Brandon Kim has dominated the free events all spring for the defending MTAL champion Padres.
