Annie Aldrete

The freshman sensation is tearing up pitching in the Southeastern Conference, having driven in a team leading 48 runs in the University of Tennessee softball teams first 48 games.
 Aldrete has hit 13 home runs for the nationally ranked Vols, and is second on the team in hitting at .372 -- with 27 of her 51 hits going for extra bases.
 She has also scored 30 runs and walked 25 times for Tennessee. Defensively, Aldrete sports a .987 fielding percentage behind the dish.
 Aldrete, a Santa Catalina graduate, is Monterey County's all-time home run leader.
