Three teams are coming out of the Mission Trail Athletic League for the playoffs.
So who will be that third team?
A week ago this wasn't a topic of conversation.
All of a sudden Stevenson has moved into a tie for third with slumping Soledad.
The Pirates have done it with pitching, having allowed just four earned runs in their last six games behind the arms of Brad Powers and Galen Manhard.
The result has seen Stevenson go 5-1 to improve to 6-5 in the MTAL.
Of those five wins, four have come on the road for the Pirates.
