MTAL softball log jam

Five teams equal in the loss column at the midpoint of the season.
 That's balance.
So who makes a move in the second half in the Mission Trail Athletic League?
Can Gonzales continue its about face turnaround and challenge for the programs first ever league title?
Will Santa Catalina make it four straight MTAL titles?
Has Pacific Grove rediscovered the magic that carried them to 19 wins last year?
Is Carmel's cast of unknowns ready to take the next step?
Can Stevenson ride the powerful right arm and bat of Jensen Main?
I think Santa Catalina is the team to watch now that Vanessa Furman and Inez Borromeo are back after suffering concussions. That's an emotional lift for a team that was in need of a spark.
If Pacific Grove's pitching holds up, this is a lineup capable of scoring a lot of runs.
At times, Stevenson's youth has shown up while Carmel has the distinction of beating Stevenson and Pacific Grove.
Gonzales is the wild card. No one expected them to be in contention. But wins over Santa Catalina and Carmel opened people's eyes.
Playoff atmosphere in April. Nothing better.
