Annie Aldrete

  The Tennessee freshman slugger has been extended an invitation to participate in the ASA/USA Softball Women’s National Team Selection Camp, slated for June 8-12, where 17 players will be chosen to the national team.
  Aldrete is tearing up pitching in the SEC this spring for the Vols, hitting .413 with eight homers and a team leading 37 runs batted in.
 Monterey County's all-time home run leader, the Santa Catalina High graduate has 21 extra base hits among her 43.
 Aldrete has also scored 23 runs for the 33-5 Vols, and sports a .953 fielding percentage behind the plate.
