Alvarez baseball

A decade has past since Alvarez last posted a winning season. It's also the last time it made the playoffs.
The Eagles, who sit just a game out of first in the MBL's Pacific Division, are two wins away from improvement in the win column for the fifth straight year.
Currently on a six-game winning streak, its longest since winning six in a row in 2004, Alvarez is 4-1 in games decided by one run or less.
A cast of unknowns has got opponents attention. Two of Alvarez's three losses are by two runs or less. It has wins over three teams that made the playoffs last year.
Can the baseball program follow the lead of the football and basketball programs and make it a trifecta for league titles?
