Central Coast Section champion Carlos Anaya of North County will face Brian Guerrero of Sonora at 120 pounds on Friday in the first round of the State Wrestling championships in Bakersfield.
Anaya was the county's only section champion, going undefeated at the CCS finals.Two time state meet participant Oscar Covarrubias will face Robert Garcia of Selma at 113 pounds. The King City senior went to the state championships last year at 106 pounds.
Palma's Martin Martinez will face Freddie Garcia of Santiago at 160 pounds.
