Soledad-Burlingame boys soccer

Wednesday's Central Coast Section Semifinals
Division III
No. 2 Soledad at No. 3 Burlingame, 7 p.m.
Mentally, Soledad has to erase the frustration of having to travel two plus hours to face a lower seeded team.
 It's not going to change.
So make the most of your first appearance in the CCS Division III semifinals.
It's been a magical season for the Mission Trail Athletic League champions, who set a school record  for wins this year at 20-0-2.
Burlingame (14-3-2) opened the postseason, edging Monterey 1-0.
Earlier this year, Soledad beat Monterey 3-0. The Aztecs also have the distinction of having defeated Aptos -- who is hosting Half Moon Bay in the other semifinal -- 4-0.
Michael Sanchez has had a record breaking season for the Aztecs with 30 goals. Yet, it was Fabian Guzman scoring a pair in the teams 3-0 playoff opening win over Sacred Heart Prep.
Soledad has shutout its last six opponents, outscoring them 16-0. The defense has not allowed a goal since Jan. 30.
