Saturday morning thoughts

It's going to be tough for King City to win baseball games when it walks 12 hitters in one game and has six errors in another.
The Otters softball team tied the school record for consecutive wins (10), and broke the school record for consecutive shutouts (7).
 Parker Costa earned CCS qualifying swimming marks for Monterey in the 500 free, and swam a leg on the qualifying 400 free relay team.
 Alex Ellison's three-run homer gave the defending Gabilan Division baseball champion Chieftains a shot in the arm in a 7-4 win over Gilroy.
 North Salinas came within one hit of throwing back-to-back no-hitters in baseball.
 Sophomore Jensen Main had three hits and tossed a one-hitter -- 24 hours after having three hits and firing a no-hitter for Stevenson.
