If you haven't seen Mikayla Revera sprint, don't blink.
The Santa Catalina freshman is blistering tracks at a record pace.
Revera shattered the St. Francis Frosh-Soph meet record in the 100 meters two weeks ago, clocking 12.40 seconds.
The mark is the second fastest time in the Central Coast Section.
To make a comparison, Revera's time would have placed fifth in last year's CCS finals.
But is the 100 her best event?
Some believe the 400 might be her long term event, given Revera's 5-foot-9 frame, and the fact that she ran 57.14 in her first race last Saturday.
Last summer Revera was 22nd in the nation in the girls 13-14 Junior Olympics in the 100.
