North County-Carmel softball

This game intrigues me.
 Both teams are introducing new pitchers this year in the circle.
 The Condors are also welcoming back slugger Janell Godfrey, who missed all of last year with an injury.
 Angie Savoldi had a nice debut for the Padres last week with four hits.
 Pitching carried Carmel last year. The bats will have to have a little more of an impact this year. And they did in a season opening 13-3 win.
