File, who prepped at Carmel, set a United Athletic Association tournament record, striking out 15 in tossing a one-hitter over Rochester, New York.
The freshmen right-hander is 7-0 for the 21-1 Eagles with 90 strikeouts in 54 innings of work with a 1.79 earned run average. Opponents are hitting just .184 against her.
