Don't put too much stock into Monday's results from the Sportsmanship Games in boys basketball.
Some teams had players just coming off the football field -- literally. Plus the games were suppose to be about getting every one a little game action.
That being said, we you beat a rival -- no matter where or when -- it means something.
Salinas, Palma and Monterey were impressive in their debuts on Monday.
