Carmel-Soledad football

Friday's game
Carmel (8-0) at Soledad (4-4), 7:30 p.m.
 For what it's worth, the Aztecs have not lost a game at home this fall.
 Carmel is on a record setting pace for points per game, averaging 48 points. The starters have not played a full game in the MTAL this season, as running clocks have been instituted three times.
 Holden Smith and his 69 career touchdowns needs 140 yards to go over 1,000 rushing yards for the third straight season. Quarterback Connor Marden has over 2,500 rushing and passing yards.
 Carmel has outscored five league opponents 90-15 in the first quarter.
 Jeremiah Murillo has been a bright spot for Soledad, having rushed for over 100 yards four times this fall.
 Soledad is averaging 41 points a game at home. The difference between the Aztecs being 6-2 instead of 4-4 is six points.
