Greenfield-Carmel football

Saturday's game
Greenfield (1-6) at Carmel (7-0)
Holden Smith is 186 yards shy from a third straight 1,000 yard rushing season for Carmel. He needs five more touchdowns to top 20 or more for the third consecutive year.
Once again the five-time MTAL champion Padres are the highest scoring team in the county and are on pace for a fifth straight 500 plus point season.
After scoring just 39 points in their last 22 quarters, the Bruins erupted for a season high 40 in last week's win over Gonzales.
Greenfield has actually held leads of 14 or more points in two games this year. Carmel has trailed just once this year. The Padres have won 37 consecutive league games.
