Water polo showdown

Clearly it's to early in the season to get to juiced up about one game.
 Or is it?
Salinas is going to get one shot at perennial power Soquel in its home pool and that's today when the two clash at 4 p.m. at Hartnell College.
The Knights, who have won or shared 19 straight league titles, are unbeaten in five matches, having outscored the opposition 92-27.
Coming off a 15-13 win over reigning co-champion Carmel, the Cowboys will welcome back six players who missed Tuesday's game for disciplinary reasons.
Not skipping a beat has been sniper Nat Hunsdorfer, who has 17 goals in three games for Salinas.
The Cowboys have to find a way to neutralize Soquel's Jack Pickard and Max Sample, who have 57 goals in five games. Last year Pickard produced 92 goals.
Last fall Soquel swept the season series with 15-7 and 19-11 wins.
