Greenfield-Santa Maria football

Friday's game
Greenfield (0-1) at Santa Maria (0-2), 7:30 p.m.
How do the Bruins respond after failing to hold a 20-point second half lead last week in a 28-27 loss to St. Francis Catholic?
Adversity aside, Greenfield let one get away last Friday.
Now it faces a team that has been outscored 96-14 in its first two games.
This is a redemption game for Greenfield.
Santa Maria won just one game last fall. However, that one win came at Greenfield.
In fact, the Saints have won just two of their last 21 games -- the other win coming against Marina in 2011.
Two things have to happen on Friday. Greenfield needs short term memory and Angel Natal needs a few more touches after rushing for 176 yards last week.
With several players playing on both sides of the ball, was fatigue a factor in the second half for the Bruins?
