Carmel football

That up-tempo pace that Carmel head coach Golden Anderson was looking for showed up in spurts on Friday.
And when it did, the Padres offense was lethal.
All six scoring drives were quick. And they would have been quicker had Carmel not cast a thorn in its own side with penalties.
Hey, the North Salinas defense wasn't bad. Carmel's offense is just off the charts.
The balance that the Padres possess offensively is what makes them dangerous. You're going to score a lot of points when you have 10 plays of 10 yards or more.
That does not include the 78- and 92-yard kickoff returns for touchdowns by Shane Lackey.
