Candlestick Park memory

Having attended 121 49ers games at The Stick, I've got a few memories stored in the bank to share over the next 17 weeks.
In no particular order, the first thought that comes to mind was Oct. 30, 1988 when Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young took off on what is still known as "The Run".
Young broke seven tackles over 22 seconds, stumbling the final eight yards into the end zone for a 49-yard touchdown to give the 49ers a wild 24-21 win over the Vikings on an overcast Sunday.
Standing on the visiting sidelines, I remember seeing the pocket collapse on Young. When he eluded two defenders, I'm thinking get out of bounds. There's less than a minute left.
Young had other ideas in front of a piercing crowd, taking off across midfield as defenders lunged at him.
Picking up blocks, Young darted to the left side and with his mouth wide open, began to stumble at the 10, diving at the 3-yard line into the end zone for a dramatic Candlestick ending.
